About Me

As I see it, painting is about having fun, sharing my passion and kicking nature up a notch. I enjoy painting “en plein air” which provides an opportunity for me to become acquainted with an area. Traveling with my camper in tow to various parts of the country allows me to see the landscape with an artist’s eye. While landscapes are a large part of my portfolio, I don’t stop there. Anything or anyone could be a subject for a painting. I treasure every moment at the easel where most of my larger pieces are created. However, at the end of the day, painting is an act of worship and I can’t paint creation without gratitude to the Creator.  Pam Markham
