The theme for an upcoming art exhibit is “HOPE.” So many things come to mind…and as I think this through, I realize the power of the word hope. I also think about the equally powerful word hopeless.

With hope we have an optimistic feeling of expectancy. When hopeless we have lost that expectant energy.

So, this painting is dedicated to HOPE. Feel the energy as this diverse group moves forward toward an unknown future. It’s always been this way. Nothing is guaranteed. What we hope for is different for each of us, but hoping makes us look forward and expect something better.

Each of us is obliged to do our part. The bits and pieces add up to MOVING. FORWARD. TOGETHER.

In my mind, there is no other way.
