I am remembering an old song as I write to you today. It goes like this

It's the only thing that there's just too little of."

From my view in Nerja, Spain, and the subject of this painting, the world did seem to be in love with itself on this beautiful day.

One of you recently wrote to say:

"So happy that you have the personal freedom to allow your artistic talents to emerge wherever you happen to be."

What a thought to consider. Personal freedom is something I hope to never take for granted and whether I'm in a far away place or watching the sun rise from a duck blind with my grandson, I seem to be able to find a lovely subject to paint. I am thankful.

I wish nothing less for each of you. Your encouragement and support makes me happy and I truly hope that some of my paintings have brought a good memory, person, view or place to your thoughts.
